About Claire DeLise

I am passionate about helping my clients work through their challenges and find peace in their lives. Originally from northern California, I moved to Utah to pursue my bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology at Westminster College. I then moved to Philadelphia to continue to earn my masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at Villanova University.

I worked for two years as a sex therapist at the Philadelphia Institute for Individual, Relational & Sex Therapy. This is where I found my passion in working with sexuality and intimacy related challenges. After realizing how much I missed the west, I decided to move back to Utah to pursue licensure.

I then worked for three years as a clinical therapist at a private boarding school and residential treatment center to help adolescent boys and their families overcome significant family conflict. After earning my clinical license, I knew that I was ready to return to the sex therapy work I find most rewarding.

I opened DeLuna Counseling in 2021 and am so thrilled and grateful to have the opportunity to help my clients heal and find happiness. I specialize in sex and intimacy related issues and am pursuing certification as a sex therapist.

In my free time I enjoy yoga, hiking, baking, attending music festivals, and spending time on the couch with my cats.
